Felt Lady

The Flókakonan is the beginning of all my products, I designed her first and she therefore gets to be my brand and the name of the company. The Flókakonan is wearing a sweater dress, it is a black dress with a colored apron and a large bow on the front of the chest. In the 23 years since I designed the first one, she has evolved with me and today she has hair, a sewn striped apron, but the bow and the tail cap remain the same

Women's sweater clothing in Iceland changed according to the spirit of the times, fashion and the materials that were available.
Modern sweater dresses are most often made of wool, the bow is made of silk and the tail cap is knitted from fine yarn.
